Nehemiah

Life Coaching from Nehemiah

Visionary people see the opposite of what most people see. Because Visionary people THINK the opposite!

Jonathan Swift said, ”Vision is the art of seeing the invisible.” Have you considered  Nehemiah’s vision & creative process?

1. Pray & Dream 2. Survey the Land & Assess the Needs. 3. Ask for what you want. 4. Then, Ask for MORE!

Life Coaching from Nehemiah. He threw off any anxiety or fears he may have had because his vision for building a wall for Israel was the most important thing.

****** My Vision is GREATER than my fears ******

As Nehemiah rode around the broken city, I believe he could see what he would create. He had a vision for the wall that was to be built. First he saw a deep need. Then he embraced the challenge & believed that God could use him to create something important, costly, needed, & HUGE.

What has God put on your heart? Something huge? Costly? Important? He has the power to do it. Our job is to pray, ask, & act in faith. Not to dwell on limitations. God was ready to give Israel a great gift. It took Nehemiah to see it, believe it, & receive it. I’m ready. Are you?

Consider Moses… Maybe in the beginning he was afraid & did not see the full vision that God was imparting to him to set a nation of captives free. But he left his fears behind & moved forward to victory.

On the other hand, let’s check out Joshua & Caleb. The men that went in before them were fearful & did not have the vision. But Joshua & Caleb came back & said, “Let’s take the land!” They could envision taking & inhabiting the land.

God gave these men a challenge & they took heart, believed God, & rose to the challenge. Can you embrace your God given challenge & state your vision? Putting words to your vision is a powerful first step. I coach people to understand that God is a God of ABUNDANCE! His mercies & gifts are UNENDING! The problem is that some people’s spiritual mindset is not ready to receive it. Mine IS!!! Join me in embracing ALL that God has for us & our lifes’ purpose! WAHOOO!!! Let’s move forward together to change the world!

I want to hear about your calling as a “Nehemiah!” What breaks your heart? What are you called to do? What change will you see in the world? What are you absolutely committed to doing? Where will you focus your efforts? Will you “take the land?” Tell me about it below!

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” -Mary Oliver

Now let’s go change the world.

It breaks my heart when I see people who don’t know what to do with their life and don’t know how much God loves them; I like to help them discover the life they were born to live

We are to receive the calling He has placed on our life and in faith take the next clear step that He directs. Great truth here.

There’s so much to be learned from Nehemiah… what a great story, a great hero of the faith! What stands out to me, in acting on the vision, every man began at the gate of his own home… protecting, fighting, building.

They ran into the same problems of greed, corruption, violence, and so much more… but because of the vision, Nehemiah did not quit or back down…

I want to be like Nehemiah… this article is a powerful word of encouragement and inspiration – thanks, Jenny!

I’m always reading stuff from you guys that’s exactly what I need right now. I’m at the beginning stages of production on my first product right now- a home study vocal training course. It’s something I’ve been wanting to do since I started the company, and yet I find myself nervous about it. Will it succeed? What if only a small handful subscribe? So this one was definitely for me, friend.

I really needed the message to stop focusing on my limitations right now Jenny. Am embarking on a new project into the unknown and I keep having to remind myself that God is with me and to stop putting my own barriers in the way.
Great post!

I love this Jenny! It is so true that God is a God of abundance and He has an abundant future for all of us. We so need to find God’s life vision for ourselves and go after it without fear! Thank you for such an inspiring post!
